Declaration of faith
The Holy Scriptures:
We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible, comprising the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, and that it is infallible and inspired by God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
The true God:
We believe there is one living, true, infinitely perfect, holy, and eternal God. He is a personal being, creator, provider and ruler of the universe. God is a “tri unity”, three persons in one divinity: father, son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4-5; Jer. 10:10; Ps. 147:5; Isa. 6:1-5; 57:15)
Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, eternally existent, and co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is the only mediator between God and men and that salvation is granted only by faith in his name. (John 1:1, 14; Heb. 1:13; Acts 4:12)
Holy Spirit :
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune God, equal with father and son (Mat. 28:19), that he is the supernatural agent of the new birth (John 3:5; Titus 3:5). We also believe in the manifestation of his gifts according to 1 Cor. 12. We believe in the true unity of all believers through the Holy Spirit and are one body in Christ. (1 Cor. 12:13)
The fall of man:
We believe that man was created in the image of God and without sin. (Gen. 1:27, 31) Willingly Adam and Eve disobeyed God (committing a transgression) and brought a double curse upon themselves and the entire human race. Sin separates man spiritually from God and man becomes unable to remedy his condition of being spiritually and totally lost (Eph. 2:1).
The Salvation :
We believe that salvation is a gift from God and can be obtained only by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8; Acts 4:12)
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper:
We believe in two ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water. (Acts 8:36-39; Matt. 28:19)
Sanctification:
We believe that sanctification is positional and progressive (1Cor. 1:2; Eph. 5:26-27) and sanctification is essential and indispensable to a powerful Christian life. Without which no one will see the Lord. (Heb. 12:14)
